Sharon Guzman, MA, NCC, LPC
Therapist
I have a passion for bringing hope.
I am a cognitive-behavior therapist and work with a solution-focused mindset—let’s jump in right where you are and make things a little bit better right away.
I have worked as a counselor in a variety of settings including the local mental health authority, private practice, probation and court systems, and as a substance abuse interventionist.
I’m passionate about teaching others how to change their thinking to begin to feel better, become more relational and reach their own personal goals.
I earned my Bachelors in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and my Masters in Professional Counseling from Texas State University.
I love working with couples, men and first responders.
Using my extensive experience and training I will work with you to create a plan for change and healing that draws on your strengths.
We will look at the past and how you got to this place in your life, but I also want to give you some light right away to make your life a little easier right now.
With that in mind, I will give you tools that you can begin using immediately and cultivate a therapeutic relationship with you that will help you make sense of what you are experiencing. I am here to help you.
You don’t have to do this alone.
