Therapist
I have a passion for offering hope through understanding and supporting others.
I am very passionate about listening to others and their story (whether it be with words or play)—helping them find their voice and making sure they know that they are heard and valued.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned both my Bachelors of Social Work and my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Supporting others is truly a calling for me. I have more than 20 years of experience working with children and families in various settings including child welfare, foster care and adoptions, hospital, maternity home, residential treatment, and schools.
I use a relationship-rich, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and family systems- oriented approach. I will provide you with a nurturing, attuned, non-judgmental, safe space to foster inner exploration, growth, and healing.
I will provide you with a nurturing, attuned, non-judgmental, safe space to foster inner exploration, growth, and healing.
Working together, we will make sense of your life experiences and the connections between current feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.
You are not alone—I will meet you where you are and join you in your journey.
I love being able to share knowledge that empowers others, provides hope, and promotes self-acceptance and love.
And I have just that—a lot of knowledge and a deep understanding of interpersonal neurobiology and how human development and functioning are a product of the relationship between the mind, body, and relationships with others—AND I love to share that knowledge in a way that is easy to understand and apply to everyday life as well as work with you to explore tools and strategies to help you manage better in your day to day.
