I started my professional life in corporate leadership. For years, I built teams, solved big problems, and worked with people across industries, cultures, and temperaments. I learned how to navigate complexity, conflict, and communication breakdowns.  As a result, those same skills now guide how I work with clients every day in the therapy room. Ultimately, they became the foundation of how I approach healing today.

When I made the leap to become a therapist, it wasn’t on a whim. It was a deliberate choice to put my energy into what matters most—helping people break cycles, reconnect to themselves, and get out of survival mode. Before that, I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Texas A&M University and spent years in corporate leadership, building teams and solving complex problems. Eventually, I decided to return to my roots in psychology and earned my Master’s in Counseling from St. Edward’s University. From there, I built The Sparrow Center to offer something different—therapy that’s deep, practical, and rooted in both science and lived experience.

I’m trained and certified in EMDR and deeply influenced by Interpersonal Neurobiology, which explores how the brain, body, and relationships shape who we are. Because of that, I help clients understand why they feel stuck and, more importantly, how to finally move forward.

I work with adult women navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and emotional overwhelm.  I help them feel like themselves again—or become the person they want to be. My approach is direct but never harsh, structured but never rigid. Instead of worksheets and platitudes, you’ll find clarity, insight, and tools that actually help. Therefore, I help you understand what’s happening under the surface—and give you the strategies to do something about it.

Clients say I bring a steady presence, a sharp mind, and a willingness to go straight into the hard stuff—without ever making them feel judged or alone. I believe therapy can be deep and still have space for laughter—because sometimes humor is part of healing, too. That’s exactly the balance I aim for: clear-eyed honesty with grounded compassion.

I started The Sparrow Center because I believe therapy shouldn’t be vague, cold, or performative. Here, you’ll find a place for real work and real outcomes—a space that respects who you are and what you’ve been through.

If you’re tired of surface-level support and ready for a therapist who truly gets it—I’d be honored to work with you.
