You’re In the Right Place
If you’re considering therapy, it helps to know what the process actually looks like.
Below, you’ll find clear information about how we work, what to expect in a first session, and how to take the next step—without pressure or guesswork.
Ultimately, this page is designed to help you decide whether working together makes sense for you.
Let’s Make Sure It’s a Good Fit
Before you book, we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to make sure we’re the right fit.
This is a chance to ask questions, share a bit about what’s going on, and get a feel for how we work—without committing to anything.
We don’t do pressure or hard sells. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll help point you toward someone who is.
What to Expect at Your First Session
Adults
We’ll start with what brings you in—and go deeper from there.
You’ll talk through what’s been going on, relevant history, and what you’re hoping will change. Your therapist will help you clarify goals and begin shaping a plan for how therapy can support you moving forward.
Our focus is practical and intentional. You’ll leave your first session with a clearer sense of direction—and at least one tool or insight you can use right away.

Couples

Starting couples therapy can feel like a big step—and it’s normal if one or both of you have hesitations.
In the first session, we’ll talk about where things stand right now, what’s not working, and what each of you wants from the process. We’ll also set the tone for respectful, productive conversations—both in and outside the therapy room.
You’ll leave with greater clarity about the patterns you’re stuck in and at least one concrete way to begin shifting them.
Our Specialties
We treat the issues that keep people stuck:
Fees, Payments & Important Information
We believe in transparency. Here’s what you need to know:
- Sessions are 50 minutes long
- Individual sessions: $150
- Couples sessions: $180
- We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and FSA/HSA cards. We do not bill or accept insurance. However, we’re happy to provide a Superbill—an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Good Faith Estimates
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of your costs. If you’re paying out of pocket or not using insurance, we’ll give you a written estimate at least one business day before your first session. Learn more at cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-368-1019.
